For over 40 years, International Health Care Foundation/African Christian Hospitals has hosted a medical missions seminar to bring together healthcare and missions teams from around the world to discuss ideas, opportunities, experiences and lessons learned on the field. We also use the seminar to connect and encourage students who may be interested in global, local, and vocational ministry opportunities.

This year's seminar is hosted at the church of Christ on McDermott Road in Plano, Texas. McDermott Road supports mission work in Nicaragua, south Texas, Estonia, and Haiti, as well as local work such as the Thrive community food program.

Seminar topics
We aim to engage, equip, and empower medical missionaries to impact our world for Christ by bringing together everyone from long-term missionaries to college students looking for mission opportunities.
Our schedule includes 6 keynote addresses and 27 breakout sessions. Topics typically include:

navigating sensitive political and cultural issues

Exhibit spaces are available near the breakout sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday.

Local housing available for student attendees
